Doctor Who - Mythmakers

Pirates and Dinosaurs

Pirates_and_Dinosaurs2
Following on from the success of the Doctor Who books 'Indefinable Magic' and 'Re:Collections', I was asked to provide a new Doctor Who story for Mythmakers magazine.

The Story, 'Pirates And Dinosaurs', was a good opportunity to write for the current onscreen characters. The illustration  that accompanied the story in the magazine (right) was provided by Denise Rajauski

Doctor Who: Indefinable Magic
Short Story: "The Fall Of The Druids"
To be published by Big Finish, March 2009
Edited by Neil Corry

When I was asked to provide a short story for the Big Finish "Doctor Who" range I decided I really wanted to throw our time traveling heroes back into the thick of history, and so I painstakingly researched the ancient Celtic era and Roman history before penning this short story.

The events depicted in the story are true, as recorded by the Roman historian Tacitus. Well, most of them are, the bits about the Time Travellers are largely made-up.

'The Fall Of The Druids' appears in the 'Indefinable Magic' anthology. The book was published in March 2009, you just need to click on the picture above to visit the Big Finish Website for more information.

The book is also sadly out of print, but you can sometime pick up second hand copies through available through Amazon. It's now an extremely rare collector's item and can fetch prices between £ 99.99 and £ 1000.00!
